After installing PlayCDG Online, the program may fail to start even though the activation credentials have been entered correctly.
Recent versions of Windows 11 may not have the WMIC component installed by default. PlayCDG Online requires this component to run.
To install WMIC:
1. Click **Start** > **Settings** > **System** > **Optional features**.
2. Click **View features**.
3. When prompted with **”Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device?”**, click **Yes**.
4. Select **See available features** and scroll through the list to locate **WMIC**.
5. If the WMIC feature is found, place a checkmark next to it and click the **Add** button to begin installation.
An Internet connection is required, and the installation process may take up to one hour to download and complete.
If WMIC does not appear in the list of available features, it is likely already installed. To confirm:
1. Close the current window to return to the **Optional features** page.
2. Click **View features** again and confirm **Yes** if prompted.
3. Under **Added features**, scroll through the list and verify that **WMIC** is present.
After WMIC has been installed, restart the computer and launch PlayCDG Online again.
Once the activation credentials are entered, PlayCDG Online should start normally.
