CAVS JB-99G Karaoke System

CAVS JB-99G karaoke system is an all-in-one unit that contains a karaoke player, disply monitor, mixer-amplifier, dual speakers, and dual microphones in a mobile kiosk. We describe each component below.

CAVS 205G USB karaoke player inside is both economical and powerful with over 36,000 song capacity per USB flash drive or SD card.

CA-242 is a award-winning mixer-amplifier that delivers your voice in full volume and tone. It has 300 Watt per channel power output in stereo mode.

Dual 3-way speakers have 10" Woofer, 4" Mid, and 3" tweeter. They are customized in wooden cases with 200 Watt power each to deliver the classic acoustic sounds.

Dual UHF wireless microphones are 16-channel cardioid condenser microphones. The selectable frequencues are according to the latest FCC regulation and they have a range of 100 ft.

CAVS JB-99G karaoke system has four heavy-duty wheels, of which two are lockable, for mobility. The unit can roll in and out of stages for quick deployment and setup.

Optional: E-Songbook Having a capacity of over 36,000 songs, paper song books by title or artist can be well over 200 pages long. Printing or updating such list would be a difficult and expensive task. Using an E-Songbook tablet, we can open the song list from a file format such as PDF. We can browse or search the list and find the song numbers to input into the CAVS JB-99G karaoke system.

What's new in the JB-99G Karaoke System?

CAVS JB-99G is a all-in-one karaoke system that is based on JB-99RX kiosk but combined with CAVS 205G USB player instead of a JB-199 karaoke player as its main engine. The result is a stand-alone karaoke system that is less costly, less reliant on network and at the same time more self-contained and simplified.

Control

  1. POWER: Power on or off
  2. MENU: Open or close song list
  3. PgUp/PgDn: Page up or down
  4. SORT: Sort song list by title or artist
  5. Line Up/Line Dn: Line up or down
  6. Numeric Buttons: Insert song number
  7. PROG: Reserve songs
  8. PAUSE: Pause on or off
  9. PLAY: Play
  10. STOP: Stop
  11. KEY: Key (Pitch) control
  12. VOL: Volume Control

Start

Follow the Setup instruction above to start the CAVS JB-99RS karaoke system. It will show in the monitor the following start screen.

If the monitor shows a blank screen instead

press 1.Power button to turn on the CAVS 205G USB karaoke player for the start screen.

Select a song

To find a song and its song number, the venue hosting the CAVS JB-99RS karaoke system may provide a printed paper song book or an E-Songbook. Here we describe a way to find a song and its number directly from the CAVS JB-99RS karaoke syetem using the control buttons.

  1. From the start screen, press 2.MENU button to display the song list in the monitor screen.

  2. Press 4.SORT button to sort the song list by title or artist, depending on how you wish to search for a song.

  3. Press 3.PgUP/PgDN or 5.Line UP/Line Dn buttons to highlight the song by placing the cursor on the song.

  4. Press 9.PLAY button to start playing the song.

  5. Press 8.PAUSE or 10.STOP buttons to pause or stop the song. Press 8.PAUSE again to continue playing.

Play

At the start screen

input a song number using 6.Numeric buttons, such as "555".

  1. Press 9.PLAY button to start playing the song.
  2. Press 8.PAUSE or 10.STOP buttons to pause or stop the song. Press 8.PAUSE again to continue playing.

Volume and Key Control

  1. Press 11.Key button to increase or decrease the Key (Pitch) of the song.
  2. Press 12.Volumme button to increase or decrease the music volume.
