CAVS RESERVATION SYSTEM NETWORK TECHNOLOGY FOR E-SONGBOOK, iPHONE, iPAD, ANDROIDS
CAVS RESERVATION SYSTEM (RS) II

CAVS Reservation System II program enables karaoke players to connect to hand-held electronic devices to display / search / reserve / play the songs without the hassles of paper songbook, request slip, and remote controller. It uses a wireless router to communicate in an Intranet network and it does not require a public Internet.

CAVS Reservation System II consists of two parts, the Server and Client programs. The Server part (CAVS RS II Server) is installed into the karaoke players, such as

  • CAVS JB-199 (I, II) players
  • CAVS Laptop Karaoke players
  • CAVS Touch Screen Karaoke players
  • CAVS PlayCDG KJ Deluxe 64 LT player
  • Any karaoke software based on Windows PC

Note that for CAVS Karaoke/software players listed above, the CAVS RS II Server program is already installed requiring no additional purchase.

The Server program, when installed in Windows PC, can also work independently of any karaoke player and import a song list (such as one from a third party karaoke player) to communicate with hand-held devices.   Each of the Server program can simultaneously connect up to 256 hand-held devices.

The Client program (CAVS RS II Client) can be installed in the hand held devices, such as

For CAVS E-Songbooks, the Client program comes pre-installed and has three selectable privilege levels to communicate/control the karaoke player. For iPhone and iPad, the Client program (App) is free to download from Apple App Store. It has only one privilege level to reserve the songs. For Android smartphone or tablet, the Client program (App) is free to download from Google App Store and it also has one privilege level to reserve.
