Q3. When trying to play a DVD disc, I get a message "Regional Violation" on the screen. What do I do?

A3. The DVD disc you are trying to play is from a different region than the region your DVD-101G II unit is set for. First look on the DVD disc to find out what regional code it is made under and then change the regional code of DVD-101G II unit by the following procedure:

  • Press the Setup button and bring the cursor down to Karaoke Setup.

  • Press 9999 followed by the regional code (ex. 1 for US, 6 for China, etc.). For all regions, press 9999 followed by 0 (zero).

  • The regional code has been changed and you may now play the disc.

Q4. When turned on, the DVD player has no video and/or no audio. It worked the first time, but now I can not get the video and/or audio on my TV.

A4. When the DVD player is turned off with its tray opened, the video mode automatically switches from Interlace to Progressive. On standard TV, the Progress video mode will not show any video screen, and result in no video problem. To set the video mode back to Interlace mode,

  • Turn on the DVD-202G unit. Open the tray.
  • Turn off the unit using the Remote Control (not the front panel power button).
  • Turn on the unit and check the video.
